Motionbox Backplates was a product from Mackevision. It was self administered and captured footage of roads, like South Africa or the french Mountains around Nice. The product itself was complicated to incorporate as the shots struggled to feel natural, still for a few years it was sold frequently and we created a lot of reflection sets. Reprojection was done in nuke and long udims where built to have high quality reflections.
